Weight Loss Management for the Long Term
I’m happy to announce that I’ve been at my ideal weight for just over a year! Happy Anniversary to my current self for losing the weight and working through my unresolved issues, which contributed to the weight gain in the first place (see my posts on emotional eating).
In the far left picture, I was 197 pounds (as if you couldn’t tell). In the center picture, I was 123 pounds and in the far right picture, I’m 120 pounds.
2008 started off with me being overly paranoid of gaining even one pound. Now, I’m more relaxed knowing that my weight management is a matter of balance–knowning the correct sized portions of healthy, wholesome food and small treats whenever I want.  However,  I don’t ever want to get too comfortable because I never want to be heavy again.  So, I still weigh myself daily on my Seca Clara 803 Digital Scale (see my post on losing weight with a digital scale), drink plenty of water, eat 3 meals plus one snack, stay physically active, and continue to work through my issues by making positive changes in my life, which I’m committed to doing for the rest of my life!
Happy Holidays and Best Wishes for 2009!

I am really curious because i saw this same before and after picture of you, a mom from Irvine, on another site promoting a cleanse and Acai????
Now that’s interesting because I’m not promoting Acai cleanse, nor do I live in Irvine. If you happen to have that website address, please share it with me because they may have illegally downloaded my photos or perhaps they are linking their site to mine. Thanks for the tip.
I found your before and after pics on an Acai website also, which I’ve posted below for you. It’s a shame that websites steal photos.

Same pics why are they still up if this isnt a scam???? get in touch with these ppl
So after I read this posting and saw the before and after pictures it reminded me of this great motivational tool.
WeightMirror on the iPhone is a fantastic way to inspire you during your weight loss journey.
It is so easy to use. You just take a photo of yourself and the application will automatically show what you could look like up to 50 Lbs lighter.
I absolutely recommend it to everyone!
Dear Meli,
Since then, I have learned how to disable the right mouse click that allows an image to be copied. Try it on this page. Unfortunately, I tried to contact those other websites without success. My other alternative was to hire a lawyer, which costs money.
Thanks for your comments.
Best Wishes,
V
You’re incredibly gorgeous!
I fell in love with you in the 2nd photo
Thanks German! So kind of you to say!
WOW! You look amazing! Way to go.
